Live Visuals

James Dickinson has been experimenting with live visuals since the start of his career, creating and performing for a range of different audiences along side a surplus of Dj’s and live acts. His work as a VJ (visual DJ) has taken him to festivals, performances, installations and venues across europe.

James has worked in collaboration with several artists creating bespoke visual shows for their live performances. Designed to be performed live by James and as a stand alone show with elements triggered live by members of the band. His attempt to use equipment in the most creative ways possible has helped him take his client’s shows to the next level.

What are Live Visuals & what does a VJ do?

Live visuals are usually a continuous performance of videos manipulated and edited live by a VJ. Live visuals enhance the narrative, focal point and provide an almost hypnotic experience for a crowd.
